剧情介绍
This movie shows the idealized career of the singer Al Jolson. A little Jewish boy comes up against the will of his father to be in showbiz, becomes a star, falls in love with a dancer not of his religion and marries her. But in the end he chooses success on the stage.

又是一部结局毁全局的影片。对于传记片来说，要表现出人物的立体感必须要有多面性，甚至加入一些缺点，对于已经过世的人还好说，但对于尚在人世的，就往往不能放开大加鞭笞。所以本片选取的角度就是奇特——事业与家庭的矛盾，而且这一矛盾竟然到了不可调和，有我无他的地步。说实话，即使不用这么复杂，单单表现艾尔的音乐成就也很不错了，但是如此喧宾夺主又得不偿失，叹叹！
